I dontknow about you guys but i can talk fishing all day every day.one of my goals as a capt.is to see every one come home with full boxes either on my boat or there own,or A charter.this web page would help that.SO lets all go fishing and if you cant go fishing, lets talk about fishing.
I second that motion Capt. We need everyone to contribute to help build the site so that it become a great tool for us to use catch more fish. So spread the word!!! I'll start the conversation by asking who is fishing the GWKMT?
what is GWKMT?? King Tourny? Well, I would LOVE to talk fishing because, as my topic says, I am deployed and can't actually do it so I love to talk about it. I feel sorry for my guys because that is about all I talk about...fishing and my boat :) I am relatively new to offshore fishing, however I am not brand new at it. I have been out a few dozen times on my 204 angler CC that I had. Shortly before I left I did something dumb and traded it (since I couldnt sell it in todays economy) for a Wellcraft 250 Sportsman WA. Not a bad boat really...totally differrent from a small CC but the trailer is garbage and the boat needs a little work. My angler was solid with a brand new trailer.. DOH! I got over zealous and was excited to get a bigger boat with bigger range for bigger seas. Livn and learn. Anyways. Mainly have trolled with cigar minnows on planers and downriggers chasing after kings. I usually put in at Ocean Isle or Southport. Ocean Isle is nice because it gives you a number of outlets to leave out of but their parking sucks. Ill be getting back in July so Im not sure what fish will be "hot" then but I might try some bottom fishing or might just stick with the trolling. So...talk about fishing, please and post some pics for pete sakes
